2016 Initiatives

Happy New Year, we hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season with family and friends.  We are excited for this New Year and this new opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of those living in extremely difficult situations.  Life in Belarus is very difficult given this current economy and even more so in the Chausy region which is still feeling the effects of the Chernobyl disaster 30 years on!  We are continuing our successful programs in support of children, orphans, families with children deemed “invalid” and destitute seniors.  We are also moving forward with our newest initiative, a “Rescue Home for Children” which we hope to have purchased during this year.  Please read on to find out all of our plans for this year and see if there is a project that strikes a chord with you.  Thank you for your support.

Rescue Home for Children – *New Initiative*

The concept is to purchase a property and hire a long-term house Mom who would nurture and care for several children of various ages. The children would have the advantage of living in a loving family environment while attending regular public school and would have access to extra curricular activities.

2015 Initiatives

Happy New Year everyone!  We are pleased and excited to present to you our initiatives for 2015.  You will notice many familiar programs as we continue to support and expand our efforts within the country of Belarus and the Chausy region specifically.  We are particularly excited to introduce our newest initiative which is a “Rescue Home for Children”.  There are many children still living in difficult situations but a sponsorship to the Chausy Orphanage is not an option.  We hope that this project will offer a solution.  Read on to learn more.

2014 Initiatives

Yesterday we kicked off our fund raising efforts by posting our fund raising flyer, so today we thought we would share our initiatives for 2014 with you.  Along with our regular and critical deliveries of food, medicine and other necessities we also have a few new and exciting opportunities to help as well.  Our partners in Belarus desperately need to replace a coach bus used to transport children out of the country for respite from radiation and the local Department of Education has asked us to help with computers, education supplies and equipment for extra-curricular activities.  Please read on and find the initiative that strikes a chord with you!
