Happy New Year to all of you, our supporters, and all the best for 2017!
We wanted to bring you an update on little Natasha. Thanks to all of you, we were able to quickly raise over $20,000 to pay for a life-saving brain surgery and still keep a balance in reserve for follow-up treatment. Here is Natasha at home during Christmas with her brother and sister:
Her recovery is progressing as expected and she was even able to attend New Year celebrations with her friends at school.
Natasha, her parents and her extended family are so appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from our community. Together we truly saved her life.
On behalf of the Board of Directors for Canadian Aid for Chernobyl I would like to wish you all the most wonderful year ahead. May it come with many opportunities to bring hope and help to others, for it is through giving of ourselves and to others that we truly find peace.
Eric McKenzie
Hi Eric, thank you for doing what you do. Nothing works if it is not organized and communicated properly.
We appreciate all of the hard work that you do, Eric.
It was wonderful to hear such a good report!
CAC’s work is a team effort and we have a great team! Thanks for your support.
Thank you for the update Eric! So wonderful to see how well things are going for Natasha and her family!!
It was REALLY heartwarming to know that the community was able to raise that kind of money in a fairly tight timeframe – Brockville is such an amazing town. Thanks to you, Dave and the tireless CAC committee members for all your hard work!
