Holiday traditions vary greatly around the world, but one thing remains constant and that is taking the time to reflect on the year that has passed and to think about those less fortunate than ourselves. With the help of our donors and volunteers, we have had a tremendous year of success at Canadian Aid for Chernobyl. Not only have we continued our program of bringing children to Canada for Respite from Radiation, but we have seen a real change in the attitude towards children and adults with physical and mental challenges, we have continued to deliver aid to the most vulnerable and destitute and of course we have continued to provide opportunities for growth and choice for the children living at the Chausy Orphanage.
Here is a picture of two of the girls from the Chausy Orphanage dressed as Grandfather Frost and his Grand-daughter, the Snow Maiden.
