Shawn Dawson’s Dream Mountains Foundation is helping to make a Canadian Aid for Chernobyl dream come true!  One of our 2011 initiatives is to start a Shelter for Abused Women and Children in Chausy, Belarus … the first crisis centre of it’s kind in the region.  When Shawn, a Brockville native and Ottawa businessman, learned of the projects carried out by our organization he quickly added CAC to his list of charities to benefit from his “7 Summits for 7 Charities” fund raiser.  Shawn’s team of climbers will be heading to the top of the highest peak in Africa … Kilimanjaro!  Each of the climbers is expected to raise $5,000 for their charity and Continue reading →
